UPCOMING ART CLASSES…

    Tues Aug 7th from 9-Noon Art with Ar.  ATC – Artist Trading Cards Class $ 30.  A greatclass for teens or adults. These are so fun to make they are addictive. I made over thirty of them. At first I wanted them as handmade business cards, but I liked some of them so much that I’m going to frame them into either mini or multiple mats.  Some will be as gifts and I’m going to keep a few too.  If you sign up for the morning class, you can bring a sack lunch and hang out to talk more about art or look through our Art library books.  Then if you’d like to stay for the afternoon to add some details to your project or make another one as a gift, you pay only $ 15 more and you have use of additional class materials and added instruction.

   Thurs Aug 9 from 11-3 pm Art with Amy. Driftwood Mobiles Class $ 30. A great class for teens or adults.  Your mobile will have balance and be graced with lovely beads, copper pieces, beach glass and more. All art supplies included, a nice selection of driftwood to customize a mobile of your own. No experience needed, great instruction and lots of ideas to make this something special.  You’ll enjoy watching your mobile spin and shine in a light breeze!

Fri Aug 10 from 11-1 Art with Amy. Free Friday Kid’s Art. Yes Amy is back with another great art project for kids. Special thanks to Pat O’Neill’s Poetry Readings which funds this free art program all summer long…Thanks Pat!  Amy will inspire children with an art and writing program.  Paints and projects can get messy, children should wear appropriate play clothes.  Best for ages 5+, younger children should be accompanied by a parent.
