Art donation given for next year’s fundraiser

It was nice to meet Artist John McFaul who kindly donated one of his beautiful  prints to our fundraiser for free art programs next summer.  He was excited for our new gallery and wanted to support our efforts, how cool is that?  Thank you John!  You can purchase some of his artwork from our friends at Ben Franklin in Ironwood.

Ar’s Merit Award at Range Arts Show 2012

It’s been and awesome summer at Schneller Art Gallery. Our Free Friday Art for Kids Program has been so rewarding. I just love the creativity and imagination in these wonderful children. Art comes alive in such a refreshing way through children.  They inspire me so much.  I am passionate about encouraging art in children and adults. I want to see them think about new ways to do things and enjoy the creative process.  All I can say is, it’s all working beautifully!

There was a wonderful article about Schneller Art Gallery in the newspaper. The reporter Courtney Ofstad did a great job, read the new article published on Friday Aug 3rd 2012.

Also Range Art Association hosted an art show the first week of August at the Hurley American Legion. It was nice to get a merit award there for one of my paintings.  People enjoyed Fine Art, Sculpture, Wood Carvings and Student Art.  Schneller Art Gallery hosted an artist reception at the event.   Next year I hope students and adults from our classes enter their work in that show, it’s a great opportunity and a great goal to strive for.

Arlene Schneller is a member of Range Art Association. Area artists are encouraged to join this art organization, see details on www.RangeArts.com
